It all started off in
early 2003 with
IntrepidWrestling, as Matt is a big fan of wrestling and wanted to do something to contribute his views and the wrestling news. It soon became apparent however that not everybody likes wrestling, so Matt decided that he\'d branch out a bit, not just have
IntrepidWrestling, but other sections, and it was in
Summer 2003 that
IntrepidEntertainment was born.
It was not until
February 2004 that
IntrepidEntertainment got its
.co.uk domain, but from then on, Matt worked hard to make different sections under the main name of
IntrepidEntertainment, such as
IntrepidBooks (a site reviewing books),
IntrepidGaming (a site reviewing gaming),
IntrepidForums (the message board for
IntrepidEntertainment) etc.
However, Matt decided in
March 2005 that it was a lot of hassle to have to update each and every section constantly and resolved to make
IntrepidEntertainment into a community, and that is where we are today.
For a long time now,
IntrepidEntertainment has been running on
SMF, and we wouldn't have it any other way - SMF is powerful, effective, and free.
